Power Rankings
Oh, power rankings, so meaningless; I love you so...
ESPN MLB Power Rankings (5/19)
Detroit #2 and they say they're very close to pulling into #1.
OTHER POWER RANKINGS FROM THIS WEEK:
Dayn Perry: Fox Sports MLB Power Rankings (5/18)
Detroit #1, Chicago #2
Eric Mack: CBS SportLine MLB Power Rankings (5/16)
Has Detroit at #4 and apparently has never heard of Kenny Rogers.
John Donovan: SI.com MLB Power Rankings (5/15)
Chicago #1, Detroit #3

That's surprising. I know the Tigers are hot, and I obviously love the home team. But I dunno about #1. Of course, I assume that you're echoing that opinion with this post. Besides, that's why they're called Power Rankings right? They are a large measure of what teams are hot and not, mixed with a judgement of the teams average skill-set, more or less. Anyway, attended the game tonight and I'm currently writing up the post. You'll probably want to check it out.
